Any disturbance that propagates through the compression of a material such that it moves the human eardrum, and improving auditory sensation called sound.
Sound waves are compression waves (longitudinal) in the material. Sound propagates fastest in its compressible nature of the material that the smallest and the low mass meeting.

- The sound produced by a single loudspeaker
- The sound produced from the two sources of noise
When two identical loudspeaker connected to an electrical oscillator, it will get an interference pattern between the two longitudinal waves.
