In serious industrial areas of acid rain are common, as a result of the quantity of pollutants released into the sky is large enough. The reaction of sulfur oxides, nitrogen oxides, oxygen and water vapor in air to provide sulfuric acid and nitric acid that may dissolve in rain water inflicting acid concentrations larger than traditional rainfall. Acid rain could dissolve the potassium, calcium, and alternative components required by plants, thereby reducing soil fertility. Acid rain is detrimental to humans, as a result of it will injury buildings, accelerate the corrosion of iron, inflicting the leaves decompose and cause disruption of the water.
