Pesticides are generally interpreted as a toxic chemical used to control pests that harm the interests of the bodies of humans. Loss of the onset of the adverse effects of pesticide use, can be grouped on three parts:
- Negative effect of pesticides on human health
- Pestidida adversely affect the quality of the environment
- Population growth remains pesticides increases crop pests.
Berdsarkan types of pests are eradicated, fertilizers can be divided into:
a. Insecticides: diasinon, DDT
b. Fungicides: organomerkuri, sodium dichromate
c. Rodenticides (rat extermination): arsenic compounds, thallium sulfate
d. Herbicides: ammonium sulfonate, pentachlorofenol
The use of pesticides and fertilizers can cause excessive pollution.
