When a horizontal force F is given on an object, causing the displacement as far as s, then the size of the business is: W = F. s

When the force F angle alpha to the displacement s the size of the business is the product of force projection in the direction af the displacement of heat transfer.

Note:

- Because the business is the dot product between the vector force F to the vector displacement s, then the effort is a scalar quantity

- The business unit is the joule (Newton meters)

- The amount of business referred to as the unity of time.
