The transmitter
Transmitter or transmitter is often called a microphone. Transmitter function to convert sound into electrical current. Electric current is then transmitted further via telephone cable. There are two types of transmitters are used, the transmitter power and carbon transmitter. At the transmitter power, there are round-shaped diaphragm and an electric foil mounted behind it. Sound will cause the diaphragm to vibrate and these vibrations will trigger an electric current in an electric foil. While the carbon transmitter, the diaphragm of aluminum. Sound will cause vibrations in the diaphragm. Behind a small metal diaphragm is a dome-shaped chamber will increase the pressure on the carbon. Strong current flowing through the telephone wires strongly depends on the pressure in the carbon space.
