Characteristics of a scientific paper can be studied from at least four aspects:
1. grain structure
Usually consists of:
- The beginning (introduction)
The initial part is an introduction to the core.
- The core (the subject)
The core part is a presentation to convey key ideas which may consist of several chapters or subtopics.
- The cover
The concluding section is a discussion of the principal conclusions and recommendations of the authors do not further the idea.
2. Components and substances
Components of scientific work varies according to type, but all scientific work contains an introduction, the core, cover, and a bibliography. Scientific articles published in the journal requires that the abstract.
3. The attitude of the author
The attitude of the author in the scientific work is objective, which is delivered using an impersonal style of language, with many using the passive voice, without the use of the pronoun or both.
4. The use of language
The language used in scientific work is the standard language that is reflected from the word or term, and effective sentences with a standardized structure.
